The latest of Fromagerie Champêtre’s creations made its mark at the Sélection Caséus cheese contest, and is fast growing in popularity.

Le Boucan stands apart with its beautiful burnt orange colouring and delicate smoky scent. Made with pasteurized cow milk, hand washed, and ripened for 45 days, Le Boucan is subsequently naturally smoked with apple-tree wood chips. Its semi-firm interior is supple and smooth, with an attractive creamy colour. In addition to its delicate smoky aroma, Le Boucan exhibits hints of woodland and fruit aromas, and a subtle sweetness.

It is a cheese for all occasions, great for fondues and raclettes.

Le Boucan is available at IGA and other independent grocers.
